TARBIYAH: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and scholarly integrity of submitted manuscripts. The peer review process is a critical step in maintaining the standards of academic excellence and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of Islamic Education.

Key Stages in the Peer Review Process

  1. Submission and Initial Review
    Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial review by the editorial team to ensure they comply with the journal's guidelines. Submissions not meeting the criteria may be returned for revision.
  2. Assignment of Reviewers
    Manuscripts passing the initial review are assigned to expert reviewers in the relevant field. The reviewers evaluate the manuscript's quality, originality, methodology, and adherence to ethical standards.
  3. Peer Review Process
    Reviewers conduct a thorough assessment, providing constructive feedback and recommendations to the authors. This process is conducted anonymously to ensure impartiality.
  4. Decision and Notification
    Based on the reviewers' assessments, the editorial team makes a decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection. Authors are promptly notified of the decision along with reviewers' comments.
  5. Author Revision and Final Decision
    If revisions are required, authors are invited to make necessary changes. The revised manuscript undergoes a final evaluation before a final decision is made by the editorial team.
  6. Publication
    Accepted manuscripts are prepared for publication, and authors are informed about the publication timeline. The peer review process aims to uphold the highest standards of academic rigor and integrity.
